Appraisal Ethics:What we will not do! We will not meet a predetermined value to make a client happy. Our appraisals are "independent" and our estimates of value are based on our market knowledge and expertise. If the value is there, we report it. If not, we will report that, too.   We will not take sides in a divorce proceeding by giving a "high" or "low" appraisal as requested to a client.   We will not lie about the condition of a property.   We will not discuss the appraisal without the client's permission.
